Can I just say that Miriam is an absolute gem? She is a wonderful human, beautiful inside and out. If you don't know her, you are for sure missing out.
Not only is she beautiful, but she is also extremely talented. She has been dancing for years, and has continued even after leaving for college. I had the awesome privilege of taking dance pictures for her and MAN am I excited to share them with you guys.
We got to shoot at the Claremont Colleges, a beautiful location for pictures if you are ever in need of any.
We went to Kravis Center's reflection pool in Claremont McKenna College. I had actually never taken pictures there and Miriam suggested the location. I am so glad that she did because the pairing of the water and her elegance resulted in this beauty:

(I can barely touch my toes so I was just impressed throughout the entire shoot)
We also took some pictures at Scripps College which has beautiful shrubbery (is that the correct term? am I hip with the times?) and lots of green, green, green.
I wanted to experiment with the peephole in one of the doors, and Miriam kindly went along with it. Not really sure what I had envisioned it to look like in my head, but this was the final product...
Of course we made sure to catch some golden hour pictures, and look at Miriam slay. She is glowing! We had to move some tables and many chairs for this picture, but I'd say it was worth it.
I so appreciated getting to spend quality time with this phenomenal individual and getting to witness her talent. Shooting her dance pictures made me realize that I really need to work out and start stretching. Yet another thing I need to add to my list...
